The Four Tier Annihilation Method In-Depth Review
The videos are meant to explain the strategies and tactics written in the ebook for better understanding. Some of the videos also have more advanced strategies than explained in the ebook. Having said that, the reader should also watch these videos even after they finish reading the ebook.
Back to the ebook, "The Four Tier Annihilation Method" contains 4 modules which are based on the four tier concept the authors, Saj P and Alex Goad, are trying to explain. I feel each chapter is divided equally long enough in terms of its depth in explaining the idea and also in terms of its complexity. This means if you are only interested in one idea, you can focus only one module and move on to another without missing any details. But, like the ebook suggests, its better for you to read and apply the first module first before moving on to the next one.
In Module 1, you will learn how to sell physical products. It starts out by researching the products, outsourcing them and finally get them sold. If there is only one resource which is priceless to me, it should be the service that is available to supply you almost anything that you can imagine selling on the internet. With this Tier 1 method, it is possible to earn 100 or more a month.
Module 2 is one of my favorites as it explains how to monetize digital or infoproducts. There are a few profitable strategies that you can apply in this module and if its done properly, you can get a profit of 1000 or more per month. Now, here is what I think is valuable for me from this chapter - a resource where you can dropship your digital product in the form of a CD or DVD to your customers for less than 2 a piece. I know that there are a lot of internet marketing gurus out there selling premium price for products on CD and DVD. With this resource, even you can now sell your infoproducts on CD or DVD without you have to handle all the grunt work of producing the discs.
The next Tier will be the one that can make you 10,000 or more per month. It deals with a more high-end products but the good news is that in all 4 tiers explained in the ebook, you can have lots of resources to start selling them.
Tier X is the advanced module in Module 3. This is a more involved module that might get you rich even by selling one product. The return might be in a 5 or 6 figure depending on what you sell. However, Tier X also has a different style of selling compared to the other tiers, and the authors suggest that this would be the last Tier to get involved once you learn the previous modules.
And before the end of "The Four Tier Annihilation Method" ebook, there is a section which teaches you how to also make great income through affiliate marketing. This is probably the module that lots of affiliate marketers would be happy to read. The idea is practical and it doesnt take a lot of capital to start. Among the topics in this module are "CPA Profits" and "List Building". What I like the most about this module is that the market is already there. You just have to bring the right product to offer.
In summary, "The Four Tier Annihilation Method" is definitely not a beginners guide on how to set up an account on an auction site and start selling unwanted products just to get rid of the trash from your house. This product will teach you how to successfully build wealth one step at a time by following the different categories tiers taught by the authors.
I will give "The Four Tier Annihilation Method" 4 out of 5 stars if I were to grade it. In fact, Im happy to see a product at the price of 77 that has an in-depth information such as "The Four Tier Annihilation Method".

If You Need to Get Something Done on Time, Ask a Busy Person to Help You
How do highly productive people do it They pay attention to the following principles of working with good discipline:
1. Structure work to make good use of the time available. That means if some of the required tasks take longer than others, they start those lengthy activities first. In addition, they schedule all tasks to be accomplished over the ideal length of time and completed in optimal order.
2. They only take on assignments for which they have enough time and resources to achieve good results and still meet the final deadline. Following this discipline usually means planning a project in some detail before agreeing to work on it.
3. They delegate whatever can be done acceptably by someone else so that the organization accomplishes more than it otherwise would. This means being aware of what other people in the organization are capable of doing and what they are working on.
4. They assign subtasks to outside specialists and organizations when such resources can add important value to the project results. This requires understanding the quality of work that can be done internally and externally within the necessary schedule.
5. They know which disciplines can add important benefits to an assignment. To choose the right disciplines requires a lot of continuing learning, experience with a variety of tasks, and an interest in making on-going improvements.
6. They keep asking if anything thats been started is no longer needed. They drop activities that are unimportant or which have proven to be inappropriate.
With so much to do before becoming highly effective, how do such busy people cram in all the efforts required to become so highly productive Its easy: They combine a never-ending thirst to learn with efficient resources for gathering new knowledge and insights while continually polishing and building on what they already know.
Dr. Oliver Hackl, a Doctor of Business Administration DBA graduate of Rushmore University, is a perfect example of this kind of superior orientation and ability. Lets look at his background and work history to help you see how he applied the six keys to success in becoming a world-class entrepreneur in his thirties who is equally comfortable doing business in Europe or New Zealand.
A native German, Dr. Hackls life took on a new seriousness at age nine when his father died. That untimely loss taught Dr. Hackl an important lesson: Live every day as though it might be your last. He acted on that insight by learning as much as he could and never leaving until tomorrow what could be done today.
Two years later his mother married a New Zealander. Dr. Hackl moved with her to the opposite side of the globe and began learning English from scratch. He enjoyed New Zealand and did well in school despite an initial language barrier.
Five years later his mother returned to Germany, and Dr. Hackl made another difficult adjustment. But he vowed to return to his newly beloved New Zealand.
After finishing secondary school in Germany, Dr. Hackl faced compulsory military training in the German Army. For financial reasons, he chose to spend 24 months in the military rather than the required 18 months. This decision meant learning a lot more, but Dr. Hackl likes to learn and was not concerned. He received valuable education in personnel administration and training and eventually served as a non-commissioned officer in roles where he was allowed a lot of latitude.
After the two-year army stint, he studied mechanical engineering while also spending some time learning about business administration, a field he enjoyed. Dr. Hackl next enlisted through a 14-year contract to become an officer in the German Air Force. Four rigorous years of study helped him complete officers training and earn a degree Diplom-Betriebswirt FH thats the German equivalent of an MBA from the University of the German Armed Forces, majoring in information and communication technology and business organization.
Having been fascinated by computers since he was 14, Dr. Hackl also took every possible course and accepted every voluntary assignment he could to develop his knowledge of computer languages and how to apply computer technology. In addition, he took special training in how to lead a platoon of 100 men. Still wishing to learn more, Dr. Hackl took additional courses in English and IT while in the Air Force.
Loving the military, he was disappointed when a broken ankle ended his Air Force career. However, this unexpected change opened up new opportunities to learn through more studying and applying what he had already studied.
While Dr. Hackl was in the Air Force, his mother and older brother started a major company trading wooden components for the timber and furniture industries. Dr. Hackl joined them after the accident, starting in a sales role for the company. Within three years at the company, he had worked in many different functions and roles, becoming quite expert in the furniture industry.
When he was 34, Dr. Hackl was pleased to realize that he had achieved a high level of knowledge in many business management disciplines. He decided it was time to become his own boss to test how well his management lessons had been learned. He purchased a wooden parts production company out of a bankruptcy proceeding in Austria and soon directed the company into healthy profitability.
While many people would have been happy to settle back and enjoy the business success, Dr. Hackl decided to earn a DBA degree and hoped to gain skill in delegating daily tasks to his colleagues while learning more about advanced management practices for international businesses. Already working a 75-hour week, he knew that a studying to earn a DBA degree would challenge him to accomplish more as a leader in less time. During his DBA studies, Dr. Hackl often turned to himself as that busy person who can get everything done on time.
Through fitting DBA studies into spare moments during his long and hectic work week, Dr. Hackl improved his already impressive time management skills. The company continued to prosper. Graduation brought new opportunities: After earning his doctorate, Dr. Hackl found that business people treated him with more respect and it was easier to work with others to accomplish important tasks.
When a fire destroyed the companys production facilities in 2008, Dr. Hackl was able to turn that potentially negative event into an advantage. He quickly re-started the companys production while more than doubling capacity to permit increased sales while lowering costs. As a next step, he will add a power plant fueled by wood chips and shavings. When those operations are running smoothly, his production manager will take over the company. At that point, Dr. Hackl intends to accomplish his long-held dream by relocating to his beloved New Zealand, starting another company there, and enjoying the home, boat, and lifestyle of his dreams.
When asked what might be next on the horizon, Dr. Hackl responded that he might start on a Ph.D. With his unquenchable thirst for knowledge and accomplishment, I wonder if one Ph.D. will be enough to keep him stimulated for a lifetime.
As you can see, a lot of preparation went into Dr. Hackls quick climb to business success after leaving the German Air Force. After having gained the right knowledge and discipline, he quickly surpassed what most people accomplish in a lifetime.
How can you apply these six success keys to become your most effective employee, the one who always gets key tasks done on time

Contract Law In The Kingdom Of Thailand
In Thailand, the contract law is controlled by the Thailand Civil & Commercial Code TCCC and other Thai legal authorities. The contract is a comprehensive description of the obligations and duties and the time limit for performance of the parties. The law gives the parties comparatively broad freedom to agree any terms. The general rule of contract under the TCCC is that the contract is binding and concluded where the offer is accepted and the recognition is communicated from the offeree to the offeror. All contracts should be given in the form of a written document signed by the two parties. One of the major risk areas is that the laws especially restrict activities of foreigners, such as the Foreign business Act and Land Act.
As in any common law system, concluding a contract requires offer, acceptance, formality, consideration and intention to create a legal relationship. The contract encompass terms that are expressly agreed upon by the people as well as implied conditions that were not particularly arranged but implied into the contract by act or court explanation. In general, implied terms may not be inconsistent with the express terms of a contract. At common law, courts would usually imply a term into a contract if it is necessary to provide effectiveness to the contract from a business point of view.
Actually there are two different areas where the place of the contract becomes important. The foremost is the selection of law clause. It describes the law of which nation will apply. The second is the choice of forum clause that specifies which nation a complaint may be filed and a legal case may be enforced in court. Notice of the terms must be given at or before concluding the contract. The terms must be referred to or contained in a document that was projected to have contractual effect; and reasonable steps must be taken to bring the terms to concentration of the other party.
The TCCC states that the laws of that country will apply if the parties are of the same nationality. However, if the parties are not of the same nationality, the law of the country where the contract has been made will apply. For instance where a contract has been made between parties at a distance, the country where the contract is deemed to have been made is the country where notice of the acceptance reaches the seller. If such a place cannot be determined, the law of the country where the contract is to be performed shall govern.
Agreements between foreigners and Thai nationals are enforceable in Thailand. Real estate, purchase and sale of property, hotel and property management, guarantees, construction are the important contracts that are entered into between foreigners and Thai partners. shareholder agreements, employment, trust agreements, loan, joint ventures, franchising, licensing and distributorship are other types of contracts that are found to be very common. According to TCCC, if a contract of sale is subject to a time clause or to a condition, the ownership of the property is not transferred until the condition is fulfilled, or the time has arrived. The completion time of the contract of sale is referred to hereafter as the time of sale. The costs of a sale contract are paid by both parties equally.
If a disagreement over a contract arises and informal attempts at resolution fail; the most common method used to enforce contracts and resolve contract disputes is through the court system and lawsuits. Courts and formal lawsuits are not the only option for people and businesses involved in contract disputes. The parties can have a mediator to review a contract dispute, or may agree to binding arbitration of a contract dispute.

How to Start and Use a Database for Investing
Having said this, I want to share some methods of building databases that you can use. You'll probably want to use an online database program to keep up with your contacts because an online service is usually more up to date and they have more features. Also, it's more automated than having your own computer program. For example, if you have your own program and someone wants to unsubscribe from your email list, you'll have to go in manually and unsubscribe them. However, if you use an online service, when someone clicks on the link in your email to unsubscribe then it is automatic. You simply receive an email notifying you that the person has unsubscribed.
Another advantage of an online system is that you can access it from anywhere. In addition to using your database with your auto responders you can email, call or direct mail them at anytime. If you have a special need for a particular property or buyer you can send a quick email to your database. If you have a property you need to sell very fast then you can send out an email about that too. There is no limit to the uses.
Here are a few ideas to build your database.
Investors:
Call every I buy Houses ad and sign that you see and tell them you are a wholesaler and want to add them to your database.
Run an ad: Handyman Specials, Cheap, Cash and your phone will ring off the hook. Tell them you ran the ad to find investors to buy the properties you are getting and that you'll email or call with the next great deal you have.
Join real estate Yahoo or Google groups and email them asking for investors to sell your properties to.
Set up your own webpage on one of the social networking sites like Myspace and then invite others to become your friend that have the keywords real estate in their pages.
Realtors: Every time you talk to a realtor ask them for their email address so you can stay in touch and buy more properties.
For Sale by Owners: Every time you talk to a FSBO or see an ad on a website, call or email them and be sure to ask them if you can add them to your database to stay in touch. Also, any time you make an offer to a seller you want to get their email address so you can follow.
Retail Buyers: The best way to build a list of retail buyers is to look online at some of the FREE classified sites that have buyers running ads. Run your own ad similar to: Newly remodeled homes. Ready to move into. Payments to fit your budget. Down payment and closing cost assistance available. Your phone will ring off the hook. Just let them know that you don't currently have any properties but you're going to have some soon. Then simply add them to your database.
Another advantage of having a database is having a group of vendors in case you have a property where you need to get something done fast. You simply email your list of vendors to find out who can help you out quickly.

Why Insurance Agents Are Frustrated and Fed Up
This is known as the infamous "project 100" which consists of bothering anyone the agent knows to make insurance sales to. The agent tries to sell them insurance, whether they need it or not. When they run out of friends and family then what? So what if the insurance company gave the agent a nice office. Who are they going to sell insurance to now? Most agents in this scenario quit only to become a statistic.
Or, the agent might be handed a 37 page list of phone numbers, maybe even the phone book, most of them dead or disconnected numbers from years ago, and they're told to start cold calling. Or the agent is commonly told about a fantastic lead system that is just a crumpled piece of paper with a few names and numbers. Of course everyone else in the building has already tried and failed to sell to these so called leads.
Newly licensed insurance agents are often told they just need to survive their first year in order to make some real income in their second year. Yeah right, what exactly do insurance agents get paid to do? The truth is, most agents won't or don't last that long because the big insurance companies set them up to fail by default.
It's no wonder insurance companies have morphed into churning factories, turning out agent after agent who decides to quit after investing time and money into taking the insurance exam and getting a few sales. The insurance company's managers are all too happy to accept the renewals left over from these agents. This might make the insurance companies and a few of the managers rich, but agents are fed up with this approach.
Agents are also tired of selling strategies that involve bait and switch techniques in which the agent promises the customer something for free, like a review of their government benefits, only to get in to their homes to sell something unrelated or something they just don't need. It's a "push and sell" style and it rarely works in the long term for agents.
At National Agents Alliance (NAA) we understand that what most agents need to thrive in the insurance business is a proven system. The NAA system consists of a mailed in response client lead program, a unique field underwriting process, a proven agent marketing program, and a powerful agency building opportunity. Systems help the agent make more money in less time and the foundation of our agents success is the exclusive NAA lead system.
A client response lead is the ultimate leverage in insurance sales. Unlike other insurance marketing organizations NAA owns its own lead company that provides its agents a consistent flow of qualified leads from potential clients across the country. This one of a kind program allows the agent to focus their efforts contacting prospects who have mailed a response letter back to the company. The end result is the agent spends most of their time in front of clients selling instead of prospecting.
In their own handwriting, homeowners are leaving contact details expecting an agent to call them back. The perfect marketing campaign in any business is one that can deliver potential clients who have identified a problem in their mind that you have a solution for. That is the backbone of the NAA lead program.
Taking this system-based approach has propelled NAA from $10 Million in sales in 2002 to over $140 Million in sales for 2007. NAA offers a full portfolio of life insurance and annuity products representing top A-rated companies like Old Mutual Life, ING, Foresters, and Aviva.
NAA believes its most important principle is to help others out first and you will be rewarded handsomely in return. This is the motto of Thomas Brown, an NAA agent who runs his own multi-million-dollar agency. My goal is to help change people's lives, to help them improve their lives, says Brown. I want to find winners, the next success story. I want to help people reach high levels of productivity and income. You can too by joining the next wave in the insurance business with NAA.

Summer Camp Helps Students Prepare For College
Get the most from your time in class
It's as simple as S.L.A.N.T. Sit near the front and in the middle section of the classroom or auditorium. Lean slightly forward in your chair, as if you are hanging on the professor's every word. Ask questions to clarify anything you don't understand. Nod your head to show you are listening and interested. Talk to your professor after class to build rapport and establish a relationship.
Make the most of your study time
Try to design as optimum a study area as you can in your dorm. Ideally, it should include good lighting, a desk or table to work at, a comfortable chair, inspirational posters, and plants. It helps if you can play relaxing music softly in the background. Tackle the most difficult assignments first. Every thirty minutes take a short five-minute break. Take mini-breaks more often by standing up and stretching whenever you notice your mind wandering. Studies show that you remember best what you learned just before and just after a break so the more breaks, the more you learn!
Take the tension out of taking tests
Sometimes test-time jitters can ruin the time you spend studying and preparing. So, allow yourself enough time to get to class a few minutes early hurrying causes tension and mental crunches, and you can use the few extra minutes to review your notes one last time. Before and during the test, give yourself positive messages: I know this information and I'm going to get an A. If you feel yourself getting tense, close your eyes for a moment and take a few deep breaths. Imagine a relaxing scene, then refocus.
Discover the Power of This is it!
This is it! means making the most of every moment. It also means doing whatever it takes to make a subject interesting. Be creative! Some ideas include studying with a friend or relating the topic to something you already know or like. When you know something well, you almost always find it interesting.
Cultivate a Winning Attitude
Maintaining a positive attitude is your most important learning asset. You need to mentally prepare before any learning experience. Henry Ford said, If you think you can, you can. If you think you can't, you can't. Either way, you are right.
Remember the "F" Stands for Feedback
From infancy through adulthood, we learn through our mistakes. Remember to learn from the feedback you get from others, whether it is a failed test or a poor relationship. In your path to become an excellent college student, feedback is simply the information you need to succeed. Don't forget that the "F" also stands for Failure leads to success!
Plan Ahead
Time management is one of the biggest challenges new college students face. Your life at college can be fragmented, intense and sometimes overwhelming: large classes, unstructured time, professors who all think their course is your one and only priority. A typical day, if there is such a thing, can include classes, library time, friends, work, maybe a workout in there somewhere. It's definitely not high school. Use a calendar to mark days for tests or due dates of important papers. Studying ahead reduces stress and increases your ability to remember at test time.

Working From Home Cant Be Any Better
Well these thoughts and dreams could become a reality if you decide to work from home. I made that choice, and it was the best decision ever. I know that youve probably got so many questions floating around in your head right now, like what could I do Ive got no experience doing anything else What do I need The list goes on.
Well to work from home, and earn a steady and stable income, all you really need is a computer, and a internet connection. "It cant be that easy," I hear you say.
Well Im not saying its going to be easy, you will need to dedicate your time, and put a lot of effort into it, but you can make a success out of it. Remember, if you decide to take the plunge and work from home, its your business, and like any business, you need to put the hours into it.
The problem these days why most people are scared to take the plunge, and work from home is quite simple...the internet is full of sharks, just waiting to devour the unsuspecting newcomer.
I know from first hand experience what its like, I got burned with all the false promises of instant riches. Youll constantly see titles like Earn Thousands Working From Home In Your Underpants, and Earn A Six Figure Income On Auto-Pilot every day and so on.
Well the bad news is, that this is just the big sales pitch used to suck you in, take your money, and dont let the door hit you on the way out. A piece of advice that I was given awhile ago, NEVER WRESTLE A PIG." Why," I hear you ask, well the answer is, BECAUSE YOULL BOTH GET DIRTY, AND THE PIG LIKES IT.
What the gurus who run these sites dont tell you is how long itll take you to earn that sort of money. So its healthy to be cynical when looking for work on-line, dont rush in and take the first opportunity that presents itself.
Anyway enough of the negatives. So how to work from home The internet has vast number of ways to earn money, and there is a lot of free information, and products available to help you work from home.
Become An Affiliate
One of the first opportunities you will probably come across, while searching for work at home is, affiliate marketing. Basically this is where you promote other peoples products, and for every sale you get a commission. This is a good way to earn a steady residual income on-line, but you have to work at it.
The only downside to affiliate marketing is having the right products to promote, and when starting out, finding cheap ways to promote your affiliate products, thats not going to break the bank.
A free way to do this is article marketing, and the best thing is, it doesnt cost you a penny to do. Now how good is that
Article marketing does exactly what it says on the tin. You write articles, submit them to article directories with a link back to the site, and the product youre promoting...voil. Simple, and very effective. But remember picking the right product to promote is imperative for you to succeed.
Become A Content Writer, Ghost Writer, Freelancer
"But I cant write," I hear you say. Well I say nonsense. If I can do it, anybody can. The internet is the information super highway, and millions of people log on every day, for one purpose, information, so why not give it to them
There are article directories where you can sign up, submit your work, and if people like it, they buy it This is a really good work from home opportunity, that can branch off in so many different directions.
Content writer for example, every person on-line who has their own website, or if theyre promoting products, requires fresh content. So if they dont like writing themselves, they pay someone else to do it for them.
Content writing can range from writing 400 word articles, to 1,500 word reports, to full on 50+ page e-books. There are sites out there that offer good advice on the subject of content writing, and the steps to take, so take a look...whats stopping you
If you are serious about work from home opportunities then the internet is the right place to look. But you must have confidence in your own ability, and the determination to succeed.
I learned the hard way that if you want to work from home and be in this for the long haul, successful businesses have to be built around people, and people build more people, and so on. But, one thing for sure is, it takes time. If you want a get rich quick scheme, do the lottery.
If you are prepared to work hard, then theres a chance you will succeed. Spend time researching people, What people want, what people need.
So whether you want to be an E bay entrepreneur, the next super affiliate, or the hottest ghost writer on the net, work hard, and dont give up your dream, and remember work at home opportunities are there, so reach out and take them with both hands, and live the life youve always desired.
Home business entrepreneur John Benjamin. Get started right way and get access to a FREE business tools worth hundreds of dollars.
After my experience i have decided that these is the right place for me to air these article. Get busy While you re reading these thousands of people over the world re putting money in their pocket by this time next week you can.

Xocai Healthy Chocolate Business Review. Is It A Scam?
Starting your own Home Based Business is not that hard to do. Fill out a few forms, pay out a little investment money, receive your product and start up kit, and you are rolling.
But, it is important to know how you are going to make money doing it. Too many people get excited from the hype, how easy it is to make money, and several months later they are broke and frustrated. Honestly, I do not pay attention to all those earn big $$$ ads, because I know that you get out what you put in. I have been a Marketing Specialist on the Internet long enough to know that anyone can run an ad or put up a website promising you the next get rich quick with little work scheme. Sorry folks, get rich quick schemes are fueled by emotion and are designed to take your money!
Why am I so excited about this opportunity? Throughout my many years of Internet marketing, I have seen many good opportunities come and go. There were several that I passed on, and still regret it to this day. I am constantly approached by people that want to share the next big thing with me, and I have yet to get really excited.
With all the home based business opportunities out there, why did I choose Xocai Healthy Chocolate?
The best part about this home business opportunity is, that it came upon me purely by accident! It reminds me of a marketing line that is so true... "Nobody likes to be sold, but everybody loves to buy."
My wife Ann and I were first introduced to this product by a Medical Doctor who told Ann it has more antioxidants and health benefits than the current health juice we were drinking everyday. Excited about the notion of eating something everybody loves, and actually benefiting from it, we started taking it daily.
At the time,we had not really considered starting another Home Based Business, because we both have excellent incomes, and were just looking for a healthy natural supplement for ourselves, and our 1 year old son Zach.
I noticed a change immediately when I suddenly was sleeping through the night for the first time in years. My energy level was up and it occurred within days of adding this healthy product to my daily regimen.
To make a long story short, we started telling our friends and family about this great health product, and suddenly we were getting rave reviews and requests from people for more. Guess what? We were in business and didn't even realize it. It was that easy!
Is Xocai Healthy Chocolate a scam?
Before we got involved with Xocai (sho-sigh) Healthy Chocolate we did a lot of research. The questions we asked were, can we make money, and how much. I looked on the Rip Off Report, Scambusters and various oher scam sites for anything negative I could find about this product and it's company. I found nothing! Not even one negative report!
After reviewing the compensation plan offered by MXI, we were convinced that not only can we make money, the sky is the limit. Just like any business you are involved with, your effort will determine how much.
The Health and Nutrition Industry continues to grow.
What really excites me is that this is a new product in a huge market. As more medical research comes out everyday regarding healthy chocolate and its effects on diabetes, high blood pressure, weight loss, pregnant women, dental, the list goes on. It is obvious that in a few years it will be huge! Keep in mind, 9 out of 10 people love chocolate.
How can you make money with your own Home Chocolate Business?
The first thing you need to do is visit my website and read the material.
The material and information provided will help you understand what exactly you are getting into and why Xocai is definitely not a scam.
I know that most people are not interested in working from home because they are either scared of failure, lack basic business skills, or simply have yet to find a product or concept they feel they can market.
Doing nothing assures that you will stay right where you are. Taking action will at least open your eyes to the opportunities out there regarding your own home based business. I started mine 13 years ago and have no regrets.

Are You Speaking Your Customers Language
We each have our preferred ways of representing the world in a similar way that we prefer to use either our right or left hand. The four ways of representing the world are:
1. Visual - all the things we can see with our eyes or mentally in our minds eye
2. Auditory - the sounds that we hear or the conversations we have in our head
3. Kinesthetic - the things we can touch and experience such as emotions
4. Olfactory and Gustatory - Smell and taste.
Smell and taste are the least used systems by people and are less under our conscious control, so when we are trying to understand someone we focus mainly on visual, auditory and kinesthetic VAK.
Each person has a dominant or preferred method of communicating - some people are visual, some are auditory and some are kinesthetic. But what does that mean
If you want to build rapport with your customers in order to get them to make a decision to buy your product or service, one of the ways you can do this is through speaking their language. If you speak someones language you boost their trust in you as you are "just like them".
There are many different ways you can determine a persons preferred language. You can listen to their voice tone high tone is generally a visual, a medium an auditory and a lower tone a kinesthetic. You can check out their eye movements visuals eyes tend to go in a certain direction when they are remembering an image which is different to an auditory person.
You can watch how they use their hands as each preference tends to use their hands while they are talking in a certain way this is hilarious at election time when you watch candidates who have been drilled in this process trying to move their hands in ways outside their preferred patterns. You can watch where a person breathes from in their chest - high, mid chest or belly breathing.
The easiest and simplest way you can understand a persons preference is you can listen to the verbs, adverbs and adjectives people use when they speak. Each preference uses certain words in preference to other words.
A visual person will say "Lets look at this issue". An auditory person will say "How does this solution sound to you" and a kinesthetic person will say "How do you feel about this issue"
Here are some other words typical of each type:
Visual words and phrases
Appears
Focus
Hazy idea
Illustrate
Imagine
Minds eye
Perspective
Picture
See eye to eye
Vision
Auditory words and phrases
Clear as a bell
Call on
Discuss
Earful
Hidden messages
Loud and clear
Rings true
Sound
Tuned in
Unheard of
Kinesthetic words and phrases
Active
All washed up
Feel
Firm foundation
Get a handle on
Grasp
Lay your cards on the table
Not following you
Slipped your mind
Solid
Now you have a basic idea of the different languages, go back and look at your marketing and communications materials. If you are like most people you have written your marketing using your preferred communication style. That means you are appealing to people of one type only and missing the other two types preferences.
To say it another way - you are not speaking the language of 2/3 of your customers. To be most effective in your communication you need to speak the language of all of your customers. You need to be clear in your communication each one of your customers otherwise they will feel rejected or not connected to you. If you look closely at this paragraph you will be able to identify all 3 types of preferences touched in the messages.
It is as simple or as hard as ensuring each of your communications covers all of the preferences of your clients.
When you speak your customers language you will achieve more powerful sales results as well as building stronger relationships with your customers. This is a win-win for both your business and your clients.
